Have an 1803 silver dollar and would like to know if it is real or not. Did the 1803 have a reeded edge or smooth edge? Thank you, Robert

The edge on a genuine 1803 dollar will be lettered with the words "HUNDRED CENTS ONE DOLLAR OR UNIT".  Anything else would indicate a counterfeit coin.
