Coin and Paper Money Collecting/State Quartes Color

Question
I saw your post about the New Mexico State Quarters with the gold hue.  I just recently opened a roll of quarters for Georgia that i got from my bank.  The entire roll has that goldish discoloration.  I was wondering if you ever found out what happened?

Answer
Hi Lynn,

No, I have had no more contact with that person and since I could not inspect the coins, I have to stick with the idea that it is normal oxidation.  It could be caused by the wrapper that was used to roll them.
