Coin and Paper Money Collecting/good luck pennies

Question
I have a set of 3 1977 good luck pennies with a horse shoe engraving to the left of Lincoln's head, and the states of OH, PA and WVA on the right.  Any chance of knowing if they are worth anything?  Thanks

Answer
Jennifer I believe what you are describing is a cent where a horseshoe has been punched in on the left and a map of a state (three times) has been punched in on the right with the postal abbreviation inside the map.  If that's right, these were made as novelties around the time of the date on these cents (1977) and sold in full sets (all 50 states) and maybe also individually, for less than a dollar each.  They are not mint products and really don't have much interest to collectors, so they don't have much value.  You might try going to www.ebay.com and doing searches for things like "state stamped cents" or "state stamped penny" or the like and see if anything like yours are being offered for sale and what the asking and bid price is.
