Question
Hi i have a coin of some sort its dark and has the word paid written on one side and date on the other 1817. can you help me please.. thank you

Answer
Hello Anna,

Apparently this is not a coin but a token. I have limited knowledge on them but I am willing to help.

Can you send a picture of both sides?
Tell me what size the piece is?
What metal it is made from?
Are there any other mottos or lettering on the piece?
Where did you get this piece?

With the extra information you give to me I can check the catalogs I have or at least be able to let you know where to go next.

I don’t want to delay your answer looking for the all the known token catalogs before knowing a little more information on the one you have. Please feel free to write me again for more information.

I look forward to hearing from you soon thank you for the question and Good Luck.
