are any Kennedy half dollars worth more than fifty cents

Hi Brandon, Kennedy Half Dollars dated 1964 are 90% Silver and currently worth 7X to 12X face depending on the Silver Market.  Half Dollars dated 1965 to 1970 are 40% Silver and worth 1X to 1.5X face value because of the Silver.  There are other coins made proof that are worth a premium.  And many current issues from 2002 to date are worth a small premium.  There are also a few special editions you will not find in circulation.  Most Kennedy Half dollars found in circulation are only worth face value.  You might want to buy "A Guide to United States Coins" (Red Book) to get a complete listing.  I hope this helps!
