Question
i have a delaware state quarter..what makes it rare is its silver, no cooper, in great shape ., what makes it worth alot is it has a p minting mark.. how much is this worth ?I KNOW PHILLY DOESN`T MAKE THE SILVER ONES..someone told me this could be worth alot.

My money says you have a silver plated coin -- there were thousands of these novelty silver plated coins sold on the various TV coin selling shows.
The silver blanks were only used at the San Francisco mint, so it's not possible to have a solid silver Delaware quarter with a "P" mintmark.
Just to be sure, weigh it. A silver quarter will weigh 6.25 grams, while a clad quarter that's silver plated will weigh 5.7 grams.
If it's silver plated, it has no collector value, and no significant silver value.
If it is silver, you would need to get it certified and encapsulated before you could determine a value for it. See www.anacs.com for information on how to get it certified.
