Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1863 large cent

Question
I have gotten a 1863 large cent, and on the face of the coin has a IH stamped, and I have not been able to track down what it stands for.  I have also seen the same IH stamped into calvary sword blade next to U.S. from the civil war. Have you seen this before?

Answer
James, your question confuses me a bit as the last U.S. large cent was made in 1857.  By 1863, the Indian head smaller type cent was being produced.  Sorry, I don't know what the IH stands for.  You might try going to the website for the Civil War Token Society

someone there might be able to help you as it sounds like possibily it has civil war meaning, Jim
