Could you tell me what the value of a 1872 gold pricess 3$ coin in AG3-AG4 condition would be worht ?

David, actually I have the coin dealer sheet with pricing but the $3 gold starts at condition VF. I believe that it is extremely rare for one to be used so much that it is worn below that. At VF, the 1872 lists at $725 in the last version from early February. That is a wholesale price. However, one worn to AG would naturally be worth less. Try going to www.ebay.com and do a search for 1872 $3 gold and see what comes up for sale, Jim Lawniczak
