Can you tell me what the value of a 1872 gold pricess 3$ coin in AG3-AG4 condition would be worth ?

Hello David,                   

The PCGS site has the encapsulated and graded coin listing for $450.
It might be $500 in a solid GOOD-4 to Good-5 condition with no other problems like having been cleaned, scratched or dented.  The PCGS prices really did not show any hard data for selling this coin at retail until grade 30 for $1,500

The auction data did agree with this estimate. I am sure at private sales for a raw coin in low grade the price would be less.
