Question
I read your answer to another question about his coin, by my friend's 1893 coin does not have Columbus or the Eagle Wings you mentioned. It has a US Gov't Building on the front, can't see what's on the back, not good condition.  Is it still one of these 1893 Columbian coins?

Answer
Hello Diana,

I am sure it is not A Colombian Exposition Half Dollar coin if that is all you are asking.
I need to clarify your question. I do not remember the answer you are referring to.

Can you clarify some descriptions of the piece and tell me again I will research it more;
Are you saying it is a coin, token or medal?
Are you saying it has an unknown “US Gov't Building on the front” and a date of 1893 as well?

Can you tell me what color the piece is?  Or what metal you think it is?
What size the piece is?

Does it have any other mottos or lettering on it?
Does it have a denomination on it?

Without seeing the piece you describe I cannot be
It seems to be a souvenir bronze medal from the 1892 fair. There are collectors of this type of item that would know more about it.

Sorry I could not have been more help. I hope to hear from you soon with more information.

Good Luck
