This coin has writing on the edge that say 50 cents or half dollar and is bust left surrounded by stars. Any clue of its value it is in very good condition

I need more information on the coin in question.
The 1928 USA Half Dollar had a reeded edge.
There was no lettering on the edge since 1836.
Did you give me the right date?
Is this a USA Coin?
An 1828 US Half Dollarwould be valued between $45 and $65 if graded Very Good.
