Question
Hi,

I have a 1928 B series $20.  Signed by Woods and Mellon. It has a L, it came from The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco California.  The bill is almost perfect condition.  How much is this worth in today market? Is this something I should hang on to it?

Answer
Hello rysta,

I must start by letting you know U.S. Currency is not my field.
We are looking for a 1928B series $20 bill signed by Woods and Mellon?
This note is a more common issue to find at this time and with one fold you may get only $30 in circulated grade.
In an almost Un-Circulated grade it lists around $60. If there is there a Star * in the Serial Number it from $100 to $400

Condition is critical for the note collecting there are a lot of factors that serious collectors look for like the remaining contrast, how crisp the paper is, how well centered the design is etc…

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Good Luck
