Question
well 2 quarters on is a barber 1895 0 its in warn condition like the ridges on the sides are gone to make it easy it looks like its 150 years old lol. the other one i dont know what its called but here is a link to the back side of the coin http://blog.numismaticnews.net/flipside/content/binary/1248.jpg  i was wondering how much they were worth.

Answer
Randi,

1895-O is not considered a rare date by collectors.  In the condition you describe, it's worth about $3.00

Your other quarter is called a Standing Liberty.  Unfortunately you did not provide the date/mintmark/condition of it, so I cannot provide a value.  If the date is worn off. then it's only worth the silver it contains -- currently about $2.00

I hope this helps,

Dan

Expertise

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

Experience

I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.
