Question
I have a Discover America 500th Anniversary Coin Collection from the Franklin Mint and was wondering how much it would be worth. 25 coins, still sealed in their individual wrappers, 25.00 legal tender stamped on each. I also have the leather display case.

Answer
Hello David,
Traditionally, Franklin Mint items are only worth the value of the metal they are made of.
If you are lucky, they are silver, either .999 pure or sterling (.925 pure)
If so, add up the toal weight, adjust for the proper purity and multiply that by the currecnt spot price of silver.  As of now, silver is $12.70 per troy ounce.
