Question
I have a small leather coin wallet containing one large 1901 penny. On the front of the wallet it has a picture of a buffalo and it says Pan American Exposition. In remarkable condition. Does it have any value.

Answer
Brian, yes it has value, but the question is how much.  There is no catalog on the 1901 exposition (there is one on the 1904 St. Louis exposition).  You might try going to www.ebay.com and doing a search that would bring up another piece like yours -- something like Pan American (or Pan Am) Exposition (or Expo) and large 1901 penny or cent.  Try variations and see if someone is selling and what they are asking and if anyone is bidding, Jim Lawniczak
