Were there any brass coins made in America
Hello Sal,
I cannot say for all of American coins through history only those made in the UNITED STATES as my profile shows.
There were some US One Cent coins that contained Brass since they were made with shells of melted munitions.
They were made post WWII only (1944 to 1946) but there are no other USA coins made of brass.
