Question
I have an eagle quarter with tails stamped on both sides. Is it a fake. thanks ernest

Answer
Ernest, I take it you mean the U.S. quarter that was made through 1998 when the 50 state quarter program took over.  Generally, coins with either two heads or two tails are magician coins -- made carving out a hollow in a coin and putting another coin in it.  The two parts are then sealed together.  When that happens there is almost always a seam on the edge, because the maker does not take the time to rework the edge so that it looks normal, particularly on a reeded coin like the quarter.  So look at your edge and see if you see a seam there, Jim Lawniczak
