Question
how do I find out about the different serise of $100 dollar bills from 1990-2009. actually what changed on the $100 dollar bills for each year??

Answer
Crystal,

Probably the best online reference for this would be the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's website.

Start with the history of U.S. currency here :
http://www.moneyfactory.gov/newmoney/main.cfm/currency/history

Then you can see pictures of the $100 bills here :
http://www.moneyfactory.gov/document.cfm/5/43/3061

and here :
http://www.moneyfactory.gov/section.cfm/4/32/322

If you do some more searching on the BEP's website, you may find more info that you're looking for.

I hope this helps,

Dan

Expertise

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

Experience

I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.
