Coin and Paper Money Collecting/wheat penny

Question
I have a large peanut butter jar with wheat pennies.  Are they worth anything.  Where can I go to have them checked in the Indianapolis IN area.

Answer
Jan, common wheat eared reverse cents were selling for a couple cents.  If you have any better dates/conditions, they would be worth more.  Try going to www.ebay.com and do a search for wheat pennies or wheat cents and the like and see what is selling and what is being asked for them and even better what is being bid, Jim Lawniczak
