Question
Hello,
Was wondering what may be the value of a 1956 Wheat penny in very fine condition with the "I" in "Liberty" completely missing. I looked at with a 10x zoom and it's not altered or doctored. Thanks

Answer
Deke, it is not uncommon for certain letters on cents to be struck very weakly or not at all.  In particular errors in "Liberty" are fairly common.  They have some additional value, but usually not much.  Try going to www.ebay.com and do a search for error cent Liberty (or similar terms, including perhaps no i), Jim Lawniczak
