Question
I have 2 rolls of new pennys. one p and one d. the p mint mark is missing and these rolls are sealed from the mint. can you tell me about them and their worth. thank you.  and also i have a p penny that has just a dot is suppose to be a p mint mark.

I checked the US Mint website and this is what they say:

In recognition of the bicentennial of President Abraham Lincoln’s birth and 100th anniversary of the first issuance of the Lincoln Cent, the United States Mint is minting and issuing four new one-cent coins available in two-roll sets. This is the first of four new reverse designs for the one-cent coin in 2009. Each two-roll coin set consists of one roll of 50 coins produced at the United States Mint at Philadelphia and Denver facilities. The newly minted one-cent coins produced at the United States Mint facility at Philadelphia do not have a mint mark; however, the coins produced at the Denver facility display the “D” mint mark for Denver.

The Mint sold out of the 2 roll sets, they were sold for $8.95.

As for the dot by the date on the one coin, I have no idea what may have caused that.
