Question
I read your information you posted about these coins, but you did not mention the value of the coins at grade 60..??  Any idea what the value of a boxed coin from the us mint for this would be valued at for grade 60?  I also have many other coins and dollars that were left after my great grand mother passed that maybe you can help me find the value on as well..??  Thanks

Answer
Hello Lyn,

From 1971 San Francisco Proof Dollar is considered common.

It sells for on only $4 to $8 in Mint State grades from 60 to 64.

Depending on what your other coins are you might want to get a copy of the RED BOOK.

I do suggest you borrow or get a copy, its real title is "A Guide Book of UNITED STATES COINS" (Red or Blue Book) by R. S. YEOMAN.

This will guide you through the critical information you need to begin evaluating a US Coin collection. The values listed in the book is not accurate but can be used to sort out the more valuable coins.
The book is updated and released each year and sell new for less than $10, a used one is fine or your library will have one.

Let me know if you need more information or help in locating a coin person in your area.

Good Luck,

PapaJack
