Many years ago my father was given a gift from a very wealthy friend. I am not certain of its value or even the metal it is made of. It does have the name of Moffat & Co. stamped into it, so it may be a real gold ingot. I have attached some pictures that may enable you to provide a little insight as to what I need to do to established whether or not it is authentic and to establish its value
