Question

old coins
I have these old coins. How do I know if they are real< are coins able to be picked up bye a magnet?

Answer
Hello Jimmy,

No coins should be attracted to a magnet except the 1943 One Cent coin.

Are they all dollars?
The image you sent is not that clear and the coins all look like the same color?

The images I can see are from 1986 for the Ellis Island coin.
The one looks like it is dated 1796 is likely a fantasy piece.
I am not sure of the coins from the picture and cannot make out the dates on the other coins.
To let you know if your coins are real, I need to know what old coins you have to better answer you.

If you tell me the Date on the coin, the Denomination and Country I can look up the specification of each coin for you. Or send the images one at a time with a question.
Please include any mottoes on the coins their color and what you think they are made of.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Good luck,
PapaJack
