Question I have an 1852 gold US Dollar Type 1, closed wreath, no mint mark that I can find. It is in a coin case that I have never opened and apears to be in excellant condition. Any thoughts on the range of it's value would be welcome.

In very lightly circulated condition, it's worth about $200.
A nice uncirculated one can be worth $650 or more.
You would need expert first-hand examination, or submission to a grading service, to determine exact grade and value.
