About Dan Moore
Expertise
My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

Experience
I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.

Organizations I belong to :
American Numismatic Association Member #187770
Michigan State Numismatic Society Member #8255
Florida United Numismatics Member #19710
Monroe Coin Club Treasurer
Lincoln Coin Club Board Member

CoinMasters Member #1814

Coin Collecting - Rare 2004 Wisconsin Quarter

Expert: Dan Moore - 5/21/2009

Question
As I understand it there is two different versions of this quarter. One with an "Extra Leaf Up" and another with "Extra Leaf Down". And that these particularly rare versions only come from the Denver Mint, the Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints being excluded.

I am specifically looking for high resolution pictures of these two different versions of this rare quarter. I was under the assumption that your website had pictures of them on your site. However, upon closer inspection of what appeared to be links to those pictures I found that it seems that you have two pictures of the normal Wisconsin quarter and one picture of both rare "variations".

"ENLARGEMENT OF ERRORS:
http://www.coinworld.com/bw1_big.jpg"

"Normal coin, full image
http://www.coinworld.com/bw2_big.jpg"

"enlarged image of the Normal Quarter
http://www.coinworld.com/bw3_big.jpg"

And, to add insult to this injury, it appears that all three links are broken!

"The system cannot find the file specified."

Please, tell me where I can find a picture, or pictures, of both of these two variations, or e-mail them to me if you can. I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you,
Morpheus

Answer
Morpheus,

Not sure what website you were looking at -- I don't remember putting any pictures of the extra leaf quarters on mine -- www.workingmancoins.com

However, there are several auction listings on eBay right now (and prettymuch at any time) that have some good pictures of the two varieties :

I hope this helps,

Dan
