Question Is there any value in a misprinted nickel...it is odd shaped, like the stamp was put on crooked..half the head is there, the other half blank. Also have a coin the size and thickness of a dime, but it has the imprint of a nickel...is this a common mistake or could this have some value? Thanks, Lois Mallinder

The nickel sounds like an off-center strike error -- worth $5 to $10
However the other coin sounds like a nickel struck on a dime planchet -- a much rarer error. Depending on condition, it lists at $150 to $250
