Question
i was given a coin that 15 stars and says 1796. i want to sell it . how much is it worth if its real?

Answer
Enedina, I would need more information about this coin in order to point you in the right direction.  What country is it from?  What denomination is it (cent half disme, quarter, dollar etc.)? What condition is it in? (price varies greatly by condition, and please be aware that there is nothing you can do to the piece to "improve" condition -- all you'll do is reduce it probably a lot). One good way to find out value is to go to the auction house of the Internet, www.ebay.com and do a search that will bring up like pieces.  For example if you have a United States 1796 cent, try a search for 1796 cent or 1796 penny and you'll likely see some for sale and can compare pictures with the condition of your piece and get some idea.  Jim Lawniczak
