Coin and Paper Money Collecting/dime front with half dollar back

Question
i found a smaller than normal looking coin. it has the front of a dime dated 1976, however, on the back it states it is worth a half dollar. Is this an error from the mint and how much is it worth?

Answer
Hi maber,
It sounds to me like a copy or replica, possibley some sort of novelty coin.  Since the 2 genuine coins are so different in size, it would be impossible for the mint to produce a half dollar the size of a dime.
I hope this explained the mystery.
