Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1945 Penney

Question
I found a 1945 Lincoln Penny.  The obverse is common and in average circulated condition.  The reverse is virtually blank.  Under magnifying glass you can see the wheat on both sides and little else.  The sides are only slightly raised.  Unusual?

Someone has machined off the back side of the coin for use in a magician's coin.

This must be happening in a huge scale lately -- this is the 5th question I've answered about these today.

Considered altered or damaged, it has no collector value.
