Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Buffalo Nickles, lead pennies

Question
I have been helping my parents clean out a few closets the last few weeks and
happened upon some coins my grandfather had collected that my father
inherited.  First, I'm concerned that they are not being stored properly--he
has the lead pennies in a glass jar with no lid, but the buffalo nickles are at
least wrapped in paper coin wraps, but just stored in a plastic zip bag.
Second, I'd like to find someone in the Oklahoma City area that is a reputable
and ethical appraiser so that my father could have these coins appraised,
cleaned if necessary and stored in a better manner.

Answer
First of all the lead pennies are actually steel minted in 1943 only and are subject to rust if stored improperly, and I cannot stress this enough NEVER clean your coins that can destroy their value, and I am not far from your area and might be able to look at your coins and give you a realistic idea of their value
