Question
My mother found a bag of coins in her safe deposit box do they have any value or should we sell them for silver content?

Kennedy Half dollars:
5-1964, 2-1964D, 12-1965, 9-1966, 54-1967, 66-1968, 27-1969,2-1974,1-1973D, 1-1960 Franklin Half

Could please give me some advice on these coins?

Hello Edith,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I was travelling on business with no internet available.
The 1964 and 1964-D Kennedy Halves, as well as the 1960 Franlklin half are worth $5 each.
Kennedy Halves dated 1965 to 1970 are worth about $1,75 each.
The 1974's and 1973-D are worth face value.

They are only worth their silver content.
