Good Morning, this is a follow up e-mail on one that I sent you earlier about a 1877 $50 gold half union proof and I would like to know what you might think its true value would be? And also, who might be interested in purchasing a rare gold coin of this type? Thanks, and have a nice day!

Due to its extreme rarity, there is no price guide for it.  The only way to find its value is to put it up in one of the national coin auctions, such as those put on by Heritage Auctions.
