Coin Collecting - canadian 1 dollar bill

Expert: Brad Swain - 7/3/2009

Question
Hi, I have two 1973 canadian 1 dollar bills in excellent condition serial # ECP1814528 and ECP8429331, just wondering if their worth keeping.

Answer
Hi Joan, Collector value of a Canadian note depends on date, signatures and condition, including amount of wear, any folds, tears or stains as well as collector demand.
These may be worth about $1 to $5 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
Brad
