Question

the coin is gold colored, it has a man with glasses on. I'm not sure what the writing language on the coin is, it could be some kind of Arabic.

Hi Dominic, it is a brass Thailand 25 or 50 satang (denomination is on the other side) featuring King Adulyadej (1946+). It is worth about .10.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
