I have in my possession my father's collection of all sorts of coins, domestic and foreign I believe.  The quantity I am describing weighs approximately 20-25 lbs or more.  What would be your suggestion to do with this large amount, since my siblings and myself are not interested in piece by piece identification?

I know that sorting through that many coins is a dubious task.  If you like, I will sort it and price it for you.  We regurly buy hoards such as yours and are experienced enough to be able to sort and price it pretty quickly.  Not knowing the breakdown of domestic vs. foreign, not if the coins are modern or old (silver), I have no way of being able to give you an estimate.

You can ship the coins to me in a PRIORITY US MAIL, FLAT RATE BOX for about $20.  If you want to insure it, you certainly can and I would suggest, just to be safe, insuring for $500.  Make sure you pack it securely so the coins do not rattle.

Since we do not use our company name on mailings or packages (OMEGA PRECIOUS METALS) to avoid theft along the way, send your package to me directly:
