Question
QUESTION: Hi I got a Philippines 1908 10 centavo coin in Fine grade plus.  What do they sell as.

ANSWER: Hello Yen,

Coins are valued on a scale from 1 to 70.

Most circulated coins range from Good (grade-G4) to Almost Uncirculated (grade-AU50) on the scale. Only a strictly uncirculated coin can grade Mint State between 60 and 70.

Very Good (Grade-8) = $1.00
Fine (grade-12) = $1.50
Very Fine (grade-20) = $2.00
Extremely Fine (grade-40) = $3.00 and
Almost Uncirculated (grade-50) = $5.00

For mint state grades the coin value ranged from $10 to $20 dollars. For a specimen coin
with no defects such as having been cleaned, dented, scratched etc..

Good Luck

PapaJack

QUESTION: What other size coins were made then?

Answer
Hello again,

Besides the 10 centavo there was a One Half Centavo, One Centavo, Five Centavos, 20 Centavos and Fifty Centavos coin. That can be found for a date set if you want to collect the coins from 1908.

Good Luck,

PapaJack
