Question
QUESTION: Hi Kulraj
I have a One Rupee George V India 1915 coin. I would rate the condition as at least fair but probably closer to good.  All the writing is readable.  How much silver by weight is in this coin and what would the sales price be, from if I took it to a coin dealer to if I sold it on say, ebay?
Thanks,
Marvin

ANSWER: value of 1915 rupee is 330 rupees
dealer would probably give you slightly less than that
on ebay there is no fixed standard , and on bidding you never know how much the price can go.can be lower or higher.
assumption:
coin is genuine(there are lots of fakes in british indian coins)

QUESTION: Thanks, and how can I be sure the coin is genuine?

Answer
checking that requires a lot of experience
90%of fakes can be detected by having knowledge of how the coin shud look like, what should be its size and weight.
for good forgeries, it can be detected by by rubbing it  with your fingers. there would be a "buzz" if its a modern forgery.
so i suggest you take it to a collector or a dealer, who can tell
weight of silver in coin:91%=0.34oz
