Question
I have a 1973 hardcover redbook with the spine writing starting in the bottem at the center spine  and coming 1 inch in the cover at  top, and the center logo is almost to the edge .was wondering is there are people that collect them

Answer
Hi John,
These books are not exactly collectible just yet, however serious dealers and hobbyists still buy them in order to compare trends for coins - which ones have gone up or down over the years. If you look on eBay there is no shortage of such books, usually selling for a couple of dollars plus shipping (or less).
I apologize that you had to wait so long for a response, the expert you originally posed this question to had passed it along just today.
Thanks for the question and best of luck with your book! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.

Experience

Collector of world coins since early childhood. Access to a variety of auction records and reference material. You can also find me on Facebook.
