Question I have what looks like gold or bronze color on the back of quarter and solid copper rim and copper washington head & feild no silver on coin?

I can't tell without seeing it, but you might have an unfinished planchet error -- stamped on a blank cut from part of the long metal sheet that did not get its proper silverly looking outer coating.
If certified as such (by PCGS or NGC) this could sell for as much as $400.
