Question
I was reading 90% silver alloy,is it worth anything more then a quarter

Answer
Hello Mike,

The US Mint did make some proof coins in 90% silver starting in 1992.
These are trading about ten times their face value for the coin and silver content they contain.
The Quarter contains 1.108 ounce of silver and silver was about $14 an ounce today.

Not all are silver though, there were copper/nickel alloy issues as well that sell for much less.
You can weigh the coins to tell the difference or look closely at the edge.
