hello Joe,
 i have a question i recently received a 1oz .999 2004 dollar coin and its actually pretty thick it is nearly 1 cm thick i would like to know how many were made and how much is it worth. thanks

Hi Wes,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I was travelling on business with no internet available.
If this is a US Silver Eagle Dollar, it could be a proof issue which has higher rims and a mirror surface.  If it isn't a US Silver Eagle, I would need more info to help you.
As a one oz .999 coin, it would be worth about $14
