Coin and Paper Money Collecting/2009 $20 double eagle

Question
Hello, I bought a coin "DOUBLE EAGLE" that was shipped to me by the US MINT on 03-11-2009.  I have all the boxes,  invoices, emails and other supporting documents. I just learned that it qualifies for a First Strike Designation.  I was not aware of this fact.  How could I go ahead and get the certificate and who do I sent the coin to in order for it to be graded? PCGS or NGC?  I am not a collector, but still would like to have the most I can for this magnificent coin.  I was just surfing the internet and saw the USMINT www page.  Immediatetly I ordered it; first day of sale...Thanks,  Leo

Answer
Hi Leo,
Contact PCGS and explain the situation to them.  Normally, they require submission of the coin within 30 days of first shipment.  But they may make an exception since you have all the documentation.
Good Luck!
