Answer

Papal medal
Hi Bryan,
I believe your set is similar to the picture I've attached. I've actually sold several such medals in the past.
The one in the attached picture is made of silver, note the mirrored and frosted look on the surface, and it's also stamped .925.
Many of these have a dull silver colored finish and are actually silver washed pewter or white base metal. These are typically worth up to $10 each in excellent condition. The silver versions are scarcer and sell for $20-$25 each. The bronze piece would also be around $10 or less.
For a complete set with case you can add an additional 25% on top of the combined values.
Thanks for the question! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.
