Question

obverse of Iraq gold c
I have a gold coin from Iraq it is solid gold and from 1981 i think. I have searched the internet for 3 years and only found one similar in silver not gold. I wanted to know if you could tell me more about the coin and how many were minted?

Answer
Hi Donna,
I checked the Catalog of World Coins and see nothing like this from Iraq.
What is on the other side of the coin?  It should have a denomination if it is in fact, a coin.
it could be some sort of medal in whcih case there would be no denomination.
Are you sure it is from Iraq?
