Question

1776 spanish mexican 8
THE COIN IS IN MINT CONDITION AND IS AUTHENTIC.I WOULD LIKE TO SELL IT ON EBAY.WHAT WOULD A HONEST AND GOOD STARTING PRICE BE,AND WHAT WOULD A SERIOUS COLLECTOR BE WILLING TO PAY FOR SUCH A COIN.THE REASON I CHOSE TO ASK YOU THE QUESTION IS BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN IN THE BUSINESS AS LONG AS I HAVE BEEN ALIVE. 41 YEARS IS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE AND I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT I CAN TRUST ANY ANSWER YOU GIVE ME. Thank you!

Answer
When you sell a coin on eBay and you really want to sell it, you start the coin at 99 cents. All good coins sell for about market price. If you price it for the buyers, they simply will not bid on the coin. If you want, maybe $25.00 to start, and the coin will sell for about $75.00 to $100.00 I would guess, but from the picture I doubt the coin is uncirculated, and you will need really good photos front and back for eBay. I hope this helps.
