About Dan Moore
Expertise
My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

Experience
I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.

Organizations I belong to :
American Numismatic Association Member #187770
Michigan State Numismatic Society Member #8255
Florida United Numismatics Member #19710
Monroe Coin Club Treasurer
Lincoln Coin Club Board Member

Coin Collecting - coin values

Expert: Dan Moore - 9/21/2009

Question
I have a coin collection that I would like to find the value on and perhaps sell.  Many Morgan silver dollars dating from 1879 to 1901 and Peace dollars from 1921, 1923 and 1925, all of the 1925's are the trvst.  Many of these are in excellent condition and probably would be considered uncirculated.  I know that they vary from the mint and it seems that most do not have a mint stamp with the exception of three that have an o above the do.  There are also four Walking Lady Liberty half dollars in good condition and several older pennies (wheat), nickels (both buffalo and indian head) and 1940's dimes.

I live in the Ocala area and was wondering if you could give me a referal to an honest and reputable numerist.

Thank you,
Ellen

Answer
Ellen,

I don't know anyone in Ocala, but I can refer you to a dealer in Mulberry (about 5 mi. south of Lakeland).  They are located at 207 N. Church Ave (AKA S. Florida Ave -- AKA State Rd. 37), which is just 2 blocks north of Canal St. (AKA State Rd. 60).

Here's a link to a map :

The business is called "We Buy It" -- Ask for Ernie.

Being in Michigan, this is the only person I know well enough in your area that I can refer you to.

I hope this helps,

Dan
