Question
I have a chance to buy some old pennies. 1793 Large Liberty,
1852 3 cent & 1798 Liberty and is this a good time to buy OR sell?
I will buy the Red Book. Thank you so much!  Beverly

Answer
Hi Bev,
The REDBOOK is retail pricing.  Certainly on these do not pay over REDBOOK values.
Also, if they are really low grade, save your money.
As for timing, some coins are a good buy now while others aren't.
If you are referring to the coins above, that all depends upon the condition.
