Coin and Paper Money Collecting/signed $10 bill

Question
QUESTION: My father gave to me many years ago a signed $10 bill that was
signed by his father back in the 1920s (approx.)  At that time
the president of banks signed currency and not the Dept. of
Treasury.  My father always told me to keep this safe, which it is
and to only sell it if necessary.  Fortunately, I have never had
to use it but was wondering if there was any value other than $10.
Any help you can give me would be great.  If you need a serial number, I can get it.

ANSWER: Hi Cindy,
I would need to know the name of the bank and the date of issue along with the overall condition of the note to help you out.

QUESTION: Hi Joe,
I have the $10 bill (it has never been folded or creased and in perfect condition) series of 1929 from The Doylestown National Bank and Trust Company Doylestown, Pennsylvania.  The series no. is E002449A.  Under the number is a bold number 573 on each side of front.  The President of Doylestown Natl.
Bank was Wm. F. Fretz and signed by him on the bottom right corner.
Lower left corner is a signature by G. Lorah Wilson.  I hope this helps
with my question.  Thanks again for your help!      Cindy DiSandro

Answer
Hi Cindy,
From my experience, "National Bank Notes" of this type sell for between $50 and $200 if it's a crisp note.

If you want to send it to me for an offer, please let me know and I will send you shipping instructions.
