Question
This is a long shot. Im writing to you because I have found a very mysterious quarter. It is a Oregon Quarter, and it has a naked lady on it and it says "The beaver State" i have attached a picture of this coin. it looks like a quater feels like a quarter but i has a naked women on it! Faith

These are novelty items. A real Oregon quarter was modified outside the mint by "special" dies to change the original design and theme. This is not the "official" design or issue. I found at least one website offering the item for sale at $4.95. Here's the link: http://coin-shop.com/novquar.html
While it is not stickily illegal to modify the design, the mint frowns on altering U.S. coins. These items are usually not worth the asking price, and the after market seldom finds the novelty going up in value. Purchase with caution.

Worked weekends for "Lonesome" John in the late 1960's to mid 1970's processing error coins, packaging, and preparing orders. Worked Saturdays at Huntington Beach Coin Exchange 1980-1999. Had table and sold coins at a number of coin and gun shows in So CA, AZ and NV. Sell coins, tokens and currency currently at my space in the Pomona Antique Center. Past "Errorscope" Editor. Presently CONECA Examiner.
